How Random!

I can’t understand this one. It was really random and unexplained.

So I was on my way to Austria. AUSTRIA! Why would I go to Austria?!? I was travelling alone; it was dark, misty and the mood was solemn (for others), I was excited to travel though. My sister dropped me off at the airport; I just about made it on the plane. I can’t understand why I was late. They – my sister and her husband are not usually late for anything.

On the plane, I noticed a black, African (possibly Nigerian) man and I saw that he had bags of cocaine strapped around his ankles. He was friendly and tried to befriend lots of ladies including me. I was afraid; I feared that he might plant some cocaine into my bags. I felt tired and really wanted to sleep but I forced myself awake because of my anxiety over this guy and his drugs.

I don’t know how the dream ended or what happened next, this is all I remember.
Why I dreamt I was in this situation is beyond me. I haven’t watched any TV like the programme “Banged up Abroad” which involves similar stories about drug smugglers etc. I didn’t even read anything like this, nor heard any related tales. This dream really baffled me.

MEANING (of nightmares):
Observations and unrealized thoughts or painful feelings which are left unprocessed during the waking hours are felt in the form of dreams and nightmares at night as they seep out from the sub conscious mind-thus these dreams and nightmares exist as a coping mechanism for an individual to deal with tough issues. The rational waking mind is not able to resolve all issues and the nightmares form an outlet for these issues.

Come fly with me....

My recurring dream….I always dream about being on vacation and travelling. Away from the city, away from my normal life. In a different country, a completely different place.
This time I dreamt I was in a plane with a very good friend “W”, we were flying to Namibia. We stopped at the airport which was dark but with lots of stage-like lighting and didn’t look like a typical African airport but rather very glitzy and modern. It had huge windows from which you could see Namibia. Namibia appeared as a beautiful dessert and ocean environment and in the distance there was a mountain. At the foot of this majestic mountain were elephants the size of dinosaurs.  It was magnificent and I could see all of this from the airport viewing deck lol
Like most dreams this one didn’t quite make sense or add up but it was a pleasant dream.

Meaning 1:
Many people dream of traveling in planes, cars, trains, or motor bikes. Traveling seems to be one of the most common dream themes. It is representative of our journey through life. These dreams could represent your current movement toward goals or passage through life. Difficult traveling conditions such as a dark road, a bad storm, or an accident in a car, or other vehicle may be symbolic of the difficulties that we experience in our daily journey through life. Other times dreaming about traveling to a fun place and having a great time could be a form of compensation or wish-fulfilment. This type of a dream can be an escape from our daily life and form of transcendence into a beautiful dream world. If you are constantly having dreams about traveling, take a closer look at the current situations in your life. Are things going well, or are they more difficult than you would like them to be? Are your dreams a form of escapism and entertainment or are they reassuring you that life is an adventure and to keep moving forward?

Meaning 2:
If your dream about travelling, expect some changes like separation from a close friend or a break with old habits. Seeing other people travel means that you might be going on a trip, or somebody from afar is coming to visit you. Dreaming about a trip usually reflects your desire to start a new life, find new places, and begin new projects.

Abroad

Why would I dream of being in Dubai?!?! Sure, I’d love to travel but I wasn’t really thinking of it lately.
In my dream, I found myself in another country, alone. I was walking in what looked like a trader’s market or a souk but the items on sale were not particularly Middle Eastern as one would expect in a Middle Eastern city like Dubai.
The dream was brief, it was just me walking around the market and looking at stuff. It didn’t even look like the Dubai I’ve seen in pictures but somehow I knew it was Dubai.

Meaning:
All dreams involving travel boil down to one thing: a wish to leave your current situation. If you travel with people, you will soon make more friends and enjoy life more. Traveling alone signals troubling times ahead. Traveling in an unknown area warns you to be careful of enemies.

Cheat....

My husband got a new phone yesterday which he was busy with for a good part of the evening. I remember him saying that he has so many old numbers. I didn’t think any anything of it as I was busy with an invitation order. This morning when I woke up for fajr to eat I recalled the dream that I had. Just like many dreams, this one didn’t really have a beginning. It started with him showing me messages on his phone. The messages were from a lady and they were clearly an indication of the love affair him and her had together. In my dream, I was not angry. I just said “pack your stuff and leave”. I think I repeated that several times “PACK YOUR STUFF AND LEAVE”. But, why was I not angry? The real me, the day-time-awake-me would’ve been angry. Dreams are weird….

Meaning:

To dream of a spouse or partner cheating on you may simply indicate that you are feeling insecure about the relations ship (consciously or unconsciously) . Or it could reflect suspicions you have about your partner’s possible infidelity. Of course this doesn’t necessarily mean that your suspicions are justified.
In some cases it could also be an expression of one’s own feelings of sexual inadequacy. It could also reveal a secret desire to have one’s partner engage in sexual relations with someone else.
